The old painting in the window

The world is full of surprising views. I bet even a person close to your heart, whom you have known for many years, will reveal something unknown each time you truly see them.

Yesterday evening I went to see a photo exhibition. As the author was explaining the concept behind every picture, suddenly my eye was caught by the scenery outside the window and especially by the effect the almost transparent curtains had on it.

It made the window appear as a perfect frame of an ancient painting, its colours worn out by the centuries.
